Mile Murphy, MD, MSPH, FACOG, graduated cum laude from Tufts University in 1991 and then went on to attend medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lehigh Valley Hospital and then did a three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology at the University of Louisville where he also earned a Masters of Science degree in Public Health. He has authored numerous book chapters, over 35 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and is a reviewer for many scientific journals including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the International Urogynecology Journal. Dr. Murphy has served as the Chair of the Scientific Program Committee of the American Urogynecology Society and is a Past President of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. He is the Co-Medical Director for the Institute of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, an Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University, and Chief of the Section of Urogynecology at Abington-Jefferson Health just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Adam C. Steinberg, DO, MBA, FACOG, FACS is a well respected and accomplished transformational senior healthcare executive with multiple years of C-suite experience and 17 years of clinical experience as a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon. Skilled in cross-organization collaboration including partnership striving for fiscal stewardship, recognition of revenue generation and driver of operational efficiency prioritizing teamwork and engagement. Leader of clinical initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, quality, perioperative quality/throughput/experience. Key strategic driver of significant service line creation/ expansion/growth. Oversaw and led the quality transformation at Hartford Hospital resulting in national recognition for excellence in overall care.
In his current role, Dr. Steinberg is the Vice President, Medical Affairs in charge of overseeing operations, performance , quality and growth of Hartford Hospitals/ Region, a 2 billion annual revenue generating organization. Hartford Hospital is a 867 acute bed quaternary care hospital. Prior to this position he was HHC Regional Director of Quality and Associate Chair of Women’s Health at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Steinberg is an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also has a clinical appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Steinberg completed his Executive MBA at the Brandeis University Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
