Pdf Summary
This study aimed to assess the correlation between balance and fear of falls in women with urinary incontinence (UI) and correlate it with the degree of bother with pelvic floor symptoms (PFS) and severity of UI. The study included 51 women with UI and assessed their urinary symptoms, bother associated with PFS, balance, and fear of falls.

The results showed a significant correlation between balance and UI severity, indicating that the more severe the UI, the more affected the balance. There was also a correlation between balance and the degree of bother with PFS, suggesting that a higher degree of bother with PFS leads to impaired balance. However, there was no significant correlation between fear of falls and UI severity.

In conclusion, this study demonstrates a significant correlation between UI severity, balance, and fear of falls. The higher the degree of bother with PFS, the more impaired the balance will be. However, further analyses with larger sample sizes are necessary to better understand these correlations.
