This was observed in both the TOT group and the TVT group separately.<br /><br />The primary outcome of the study was the recurrence of leakage symptoms after surgery, while secondary outcomes included hospital stay, operation duration, blood loss during surgery, and complications. The medical records of patients who underwent TOT or TVT surgery at Yonsei University Hospital between January 2010 and December 2015 were reviewed.<br /><br />The study findings suggest that midurethral sling surgery using TOT or TVT is a safe and effective technique for the management of SUI across different age groups. Age does not significantly impact the long-term outcomes or complication rates of these surgical procedures.
