Pdf Summary
This study reports the experience of using the Remeex system for the treatment of recurrent stress urinary incontinence in women. The study included 10 patients with a mean age of 60 years and a mean follow-up of 7 months. The Remeex system is an adjustable sling procedure.

The primary outcome of the study was subjective continence, defined as no leakage reported by the patient. The success rates, complications, and number of adjustments were analyzed. Out of the 10 patients, 6 had stress-predominant mixed urinary incontinence previously, while 7 were continent and 1 patient required 2 readjustments.

Complications observed in the study included 1 suprapubic seroma, 1 granuloma, and 1 de-novo urge incontinence induced by stress. Despite these complications, the authors conclude that the Remeex system is a valuable and safe option for the treatment of complex management pathologies like recurrent stress urinary incontinence. The system allows for postoperative adjustment of its tension.

Overall, the study suggests that the Remeex system can be effective in treating recurrent stress urinary incontinence in women. However, more research is needed to further evaluate the system's efficacy and safety in larger patient populations and over longer follow-up periods.
