She described a systematic approach to surgery: using efficient instruments, identifying the promontory safely, performing hysterectomy quickly, using a “cut and push” dissection technique for anterior and posterior planes, placing mesh with bidirectional barbed sutures, tunneling for reperitonealization, and using Lasix to improve ureteral efflux during cystoscopy.
