Urogyn for the APP is AUGS' one-of-a-kind course specifically designed for nurse practitioners, nurses, physical therapists, and physician assistants to foster a greater understanding of the current evaluation and management options that exist in Urogynecology today and gain valuable insights on practical applications that can be implemented immediately.

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Pelvic floor disorders (PFDs): pelvic organ prolapse, bowel and bladder incontinence, constipation and defecatory dysfunction
  • Pelvic anatomy and pelvic exam
  • Evaluation, treatment
  • Pessary fitting and management
  • Interpretation of urodynamic testing

  • Rectal prolapse diagnosis, evaluation and management
  • Recurrent UTI: diagnosis, evaluation and management
  • Pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction: diagnosis, evaluation and management
