About the 2025 AUG Annual Meeting

The AUGS Annual Meeting is the premier meeting for health care professionals dedicated to advancing urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. This year’s meeting offers a comprehensive experience, including two and a half days of scientific presentations, networking, and social events. The theme of the 2025 meeting was Bridging Borders in Urogynecology: Together in Innovation! 

This course is a recording of the live AUGS Annual Meeting which took place in Vancouver, Canada, ctober 14-17, 2025. This course includes all live-streamed sessions. 

Learning Objectives

1. Discuss updates in pelvic organ prolapse, fecal/urinary incontinence, and overactive bladder treatments.
2. Describe pelvic floor anatomy and how to avoid, minimize, and manage complications of surgery.
3. Describe research in childbirth-related pelvic floor disorders and their clinical management.
4. Discuss emerging research on the relationship between the microbiome and bladder health.
5. Discuss regenerative medicine and its applications in urogynecology.
6. Describe simulation models that can be used to educate trainees.
7. Discuss the use of imaging in evaluating patients with pelvic floor disorders.
8. Discuss the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in patient care.
9. Discuss health disparities in urogynecology and identify key factors contributing to inequities in access, quality of care, and outcomes and strategies to mitigate these inequities.
