Cary N. D. Fishburne, Jr., MD, FACOG, FACS, FPMRS is a board certified Urogynecologist specializing in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his medical degree from The University of Virginia. He then went on to complete an Internal Medicine Internship at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont and then a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center. He has been in practice for over 20 years, having learned the Urogynecology subspecialty while on faculty with the U.S. Navy and has been practicing Urogynecology exclusively since becoming board certified.
