Dr. Christopher Chung is a board-certified urogynecologist and Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at City of Hope Medical Center, a National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Center in Los Angeles.  He completed his fellowship in urogynecology at Scott & White Healthcare / Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine.  Dr. Chung's practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of female pelvic floor disorders in cancer patients, and minimally invasive, mesh-free reconstructive procedures that are often performed alongside gynecologic cancer surgeries to help reduce recovery time and improve patient outcomes.  His research is dedicated to advancing care for cancer survivors, particularly in the areas of pelvic floor dysfunction and reconstruction integrated with gynecologic oncology.  His published work includes studies on pelvic reconstruction combined with cancer surgery, prolapse repair following pelvic exenteration, vaginal GVHD after bone marrow transplant, and urinary incontinence among breast cancer survivors undergoing treatment.  Dr. Chung also serves on committees with ABOG, including the FPMRS Assessment Development Subcommittee and the Practice Analysis Subject Matter Expert Panel.
