The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) created the Guide to Learning (GTL) in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) and maintained the document until 2018. Since then, ABOG introduced the FPMRS Qualifying Exam Blueprint. The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) was offered the opportunity to oversee the GTL and assume leadership in maintaining the GTL. In 2023, the subspecialty was renamed Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS). For the purposes of the GTL, "FPMRS" has been updated to "URPS". This updated GTL was created by members of the AUGS Fellowship Training Committee (FTC). An executive summary of this report is published in the Janurary 2025 issue of Urogynecology.
