This on-demand course is a recording of the live meeting, PFD Week 2023, held in Portland, Oregon in October 2023. PFD Week was created by AUGS to become the go-to meeting for health care professionals interested in or actively practicing urogynecology. This course contains scientific presentations suited for physicians, physicians-in-training, researchers, physical therapists, advance nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who specialize in women’s urogynecologic care.

Course Learning Objectives:
- Identify risk factors, epidemiology, and impact on quality of life of pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and sexual dysfunction.
- Manage pelvic organ prolapse using a variety of nonsurgical and surgical techniques.
- Manage urinary incontinence using a variety of nonsurgical and surgical techniques.
- Manage bowel incontinence using a variety of non-surgical and surgical techniques.
- Describe pelvic floor anatomy and how to avoid, minimize and manage complications of surgery.
- Evaluate the incidence of pelvic floor disorders and their care with a lens for diversity, equity and belonging.
- Improve understanding of practice management, billing and coding and governmental influences on health care.
- Describe the current mechanistic understanding of pelvic floor disorders based on basic and translational science in urogynecology.
