Dr. Cheryl Iglesia is the founder and director of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship program and the director of the National Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery at MedStar Health. She is also a professor in the departments of OB/GYN and Urology at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Iglesia is the current chair of the Advisory Board for the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute for Child Health and Human Development. She is on the executive board of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons as the immediate past president.

 

Dr. Fiona M. Lindo is the medical director of Urogynecology and the Center for Restorative Pelvic Medicine at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, associate fellowship program director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, and adjunct clinical assistant professor at Texas A&M University School of Medicine, Houston Campus. Dr. Lindo has a focus in global health and serves as the director of International Women’s Health at Houston Methodist Hospital in the OB/GYN department.
 
She completed her OB/GYN residency at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, and her fellowship training in urogynecology at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare, Texas A&M University School of Medicine. She is triple board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and lifestyle medicine. She is an active member of the American Urogynecology Association, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, International Urogynecology Association, International Incontinence Society and American College of Lifestyle Medicine. 

Dr. Pitman is board-certified in both obstetrics and gynecology, and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery and has more than 25 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency training at the University of Louisville. Dr. Pitman spent more than 20 years as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Athens Limestone Hospital in Alabama, where he was the first in the state to perform single-incision total laparoscopic hysterectomy. Now practicing in Southaven, Mississippi, Dr. Pitman specializes in urogynecology and MIS techniques. Having performed over 700 single-site laparoscopic procedures, he brought single-site surgery to North Mississippi and the Mid-South. Dr. Pitman combined his single-site technique with his vaginal surgical experience to bring vNOTES to the area as well.

Dr. Zoorob is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist with a special interest in prolapse repair using minimally invasive techniques. He has authored many peer-reviewed articles  on a wide range of gynecologic, simulation and education-related topics. Dr. Zoorob is currently the professor and chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Center, Ochsner LSU Health System in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his fellowship at the University of Cincinnati, Christ Hospital. Dr. Zoorob was the director of Urogynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and then the residency program director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toledo for five years. Concurrently, he was the medical director of Women’s Services at ProMedica Health System, one of the twenty largest hospitals  in the U.S. based on the number of beds.
