Dr. Cheryl Iglesia is the founder and director of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship program and the director of the National Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery at MedStar Health. She is also a professor in the departments of OB/GYN and Urology at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Iglesia is the current chair of the Advisory Board for the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute for Child Health and Human Development. She is on the executive board of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons as the immediate past president.
Dr. Fiona M. Lindo is the medical director of Urogynecology and the Center for Restorative Pelvic Medicine at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, associate fellowship program director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, and adjunct clinical assistant professor at Texas A&M University School of Medicine, Houston Campus. Dr. Lindo has a focus in global health and serves as the director of International Women’s Health at Houston Methodist Hospital in the OB/GYN department. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, and her fellowship training in urogynecology at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare, Texas A&M University School of Medicine. She is triple board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and lifestyle medicine. She is an active member of the American Urogynecology Association, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, International Urogynecology Association, International Incontinence Society and American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
