About this Course
Urogyn for the APP is AUGS' one-of-a-kind course specifically designed for nurse practitioners, nurses, physical therapists, and physician assistants to foster a greater understanding of the current evaluation and management options that exist in Urogynecology today and gain valuable insights on practical applications that can be implemented immediately.

Couse Learning Objectives:
  1. Describe pelvic anatomy relevant to pelvic floor disorders
  2. Identify and explain surgical procedures for PFDs: pelvic organ prolapse, bowel and bladder incontinence, constipation and defecatory dysfunction
  3. Be able to conduct patient counseling for PFDs
  4. Describe menopausal management
  5. Identify sexual dysfunction and its management
  6. Identify specific treatments for transgender care
  7. Understand rectal prolapse diagnosis, evaluation and management
  8. Understand recurrent UTI: diagnosis, evaluation and management
  9. Understand pelvic pain: diagnosis, evaluation and management
  10. Describe diagnosis and management of common vulvar dermatose
  11. Describe symptoms, diagnosis and treatment for urinary and fecal incontinence
