About this course
This course is a robust, comprehensive review of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery for healthcare professionals who desire a review of the state-of-the-art developments in the field, as well as medical students and residents who are interested in learning more about the practice of urogynecology. The course also includes new developments in the field with an emphasis on relevant clinical information. The Course is conducted by knowledgeable faculty and lecturers who are renowned in their fields of interest.

Course Learning Objectives:
  • Describe the physiology, evaluation, and management of common Urogynecologic conditions including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence.
  • Describe the algorithm for Identifying, investigating, and managing lower urinary tract injuries.
  • Discuss management strategies for pain-related conditions in urogynecology.
  • Discuss strategies for incorporating imaging and same-day discharge (ERAS protocols) into one’s practice.
  • Undersand relevant pelvic anatomy and application to clinical practic
