This presentation will discuss the trend of uterine preservation in urogynecology, and review various surgical techniques for hysteropexy. This talk will focus on the role of uterine preservation from the patient perspective with a close examination of prolapse outcomes, surgical morbidity and patient valuation.

Faculty
Olivia H. Chang, MD, MPH   Dr. Chang is a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellow at the Cleveland Clinic. Her clinical and research interest include complex vaginal reconstruction, uterine-preserving surgeries and the impact of the genital hiatus on prolapse outcomes.
She has extensive experience in medical education and training simulation, particularly in low-resource settings.
