Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  1. Recognize the techniques of native tissue vaginal repair for advanced pelvic organ prolapse.
  2. Apply methods that are used to manage surgical complications that occur during urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse procedures.
  3. Explain advanced techniques in laparoscopic and robotic surgery that improve efficiency and outcomes.
  4. Recognize the medical and surgical management strategies for complex defecation disorders including fecal incontinence and obstructed defecation syndromes.
  5. Identify techniques by which pelvic floor ultrasound can assist in outpatient evaluation of pelvic floor disorders.
