Faculty
Vincent R. Lucente, MD, MBA, FACOG, FPMRS is Medical Director of the Institute for Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and FPM Urogynecology Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Chief of Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Lucente also holds an academic appointment as Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Lucente is board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Lucente earned his medical degree at the School of Medicine of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed his postgraduate training at Methodist Hospital of Indiana through a fellowship in urogynecology. He later earned an MBA in medical management from DeSales University. Dr. Lucente is an internationally recognized urogynecologist and innovative reconstructive pelvic surgeon. He is an active teacher and researcher in the field of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lucente’s research focus has been in minimally invasive approaches to the surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and fecal incontinence. His research has appeared in medical textbooks and in numerous peer-reviewed publications such as: Urologic Clinics of North America, International Urogynecology Journal, Journal of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, and American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
