Description

The Center for Vulvar Diseases is a multidisciplinary clinic with a focus on dermatoses, pre-invasive disease, and rare and/or complex conditions. This is an interactive review of cases encompassing benign vulvar disease with a focus on collaboration with our FPMRS colleagues.

Learning Objectives

1. Review patient and physician educational resources
2. Review a small selection of benign vulvar dermatoses
3. Review strategies for complex case management and surgical considerations

Faculty

Dr. Kathryn Welch is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She is a Michigan native who earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University. Dr. Welch then pursued her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Her practice encompasses general obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on vulvar diseases.
