The AUGS Self-Assessment Fellows Exam (SAFE) is a web-based, multiple choice exam designed to test objectives found in the Guide to Learning for FPMRS. SAFE is open only to FPMRS Fellows. You do not have to be a member of AUGS to take the exam.

Taking the Exam
We highly recommend that all fellows from a program take the exam on the same day at the same time. Each program should provide a proctor, a fellowship coordinator or an administrative assistant, to proctor the exam. Instruction on how to access the exam will be made available via e-mail after registration closes on March 3. 

Results
Following the exam, results will be shared with the program directors and individual fellows. To facilitate greater understanding of the content areas on which they can focus, fellows will receive their results, including learning objectives tied to missed questions. Program Directors will also receive their fellows' test results.

Registration
Individuals taking the exam MUST register for SAFE on their own. Early registration ends on Feb 28. FINAL EXAM REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 3, 2023 AT NOON EASTERN.

During registration, you will be given the option to choose your preferred exam date. All examinees are expected to take the exam on their chosen exam dates. If an emergency occurs and you missed your preferred date between March 7-9, please contact AUGS to be added to a makeup exam date, March 14-15. During registration, you may also select March 14 or 15th as your exam date of choice.

Early Bird Registration - Janurary 18 - February 28, 2023

• AUGS Fellowship Program Members - The exam is complimentary for up to three (3) fellows in an ACGME accredited AUGS Fellowship Program that has paid its 2023 dues in full by December 31, 2022. Each additional fellow will be charged $185 per person. If your program is has not renewed for the 2023 membership year on or before the membershp renewal due date, you and/or your program will be invoiced $285 per fellow.
• AUGS Fellow Members (not part of a Fellowship Program membership) – $285 per person
• Fellow Non-Members – $385 per person

Registration from February 28 - March 3, 2023

• Fellows who are part of an AUGS Program membership category whose program has renewed its dues for 2023 will be charged $150 per person for the first 3 fellows and $185 per person thereafter. 
• Fellows who are not part of an AUGS Fellowship Program membership, but is an AUGS member, will be charged $385 per person. 
• Fellow Non-Members – $485 per person
