This webinar will highlight the findings and recommendations from the AUGS-SGO 2026 Clinical Consensus Statement on Safety and Feasibility of Concomitant Urogynecologic and Gynecologic Oncology Surgical Procedures. Pelvic floor disorders are common among patients with gynecologic cancer and significantly affect quality of life. Despite this significant overlap, only a minority of patients undergo concomitant urogynecologic surgical procedures at the time of surgical intervention for a gynecologic malignancy, and there is no current consensus on patient selection, timing of concurrent procedures, and best practices in the gynecologic oncology population. A critical evaluation of the current evidence surrounding the safety and feasibility of joint procedures is crucial to inform joint decision-making with patients and identify knowledge gaps for future research.

Panelist:
  • Katrina M. Robison, MD | SGO Representative
  • Kyle Wohlrab, MD | Writing Group Chair
Moderator: Holly Richter, MD  | AUGS Representative
